Backing Tracks for guitarists

Whether you're after free backing tracks to download, or top quality jam tracks to purchase at a reasonable price - you've come to the right place!

When I wanted some modal backing tracks to jam over I went searching the Internet. I was disappointed that what was on offer seemed to be exclusively for jazz players and/or midi files that I find very uninspiring to play over.

I therefore decided to produce backing tracks that are for practicing various scales, including several of the modes, and are more Rock, Funk and Blues based. You'll find some free backing tracks further down this page.
